I had no complaints about the room, which was finished to a very high standard, and everything else about the stay was as I expected. The one thing I wish I’d known beforehand was that there’s no lift and the upper floors can only be reached by stairs. I had to carry my heavy suitcase up and back down the next morning; if I’d known, I could have brought an overnight bag instead. It would be helpful to mention the lack of a lift on the hotel’s website. I booked through the B&B company website, but a third-party site did mention it.

Our room felt new, was spotlessly clean, and had extremely comfortable beds and covers. The price is hard to beat, and I’ll return whenever I’m in the area. At first the hotel seemed a little isolated, but the clerk, who was also one of the owners, warmly welcomed us and explained that the family lives on the grounds. That made me feel safer.

Check-in was quick and easy, even without a reservation. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a convenient, secure place to stop overnight after a long drive, with plenty of parking.

Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The room itself was clean, comfortable and convenient, and the hotel is very streamlined, with a good 24/7 check-in. Getting suitcases up to the third floor was harder because there’s no elevator, but at this price I can’t complain. The place does feel lifeless and depressing, with little atmosphere. It works for business stays, but I wouldn’t bring my family here. Even so, the quality is excellent for the price.

Out in the countryside, it’s a good spot for a run or some exercise. There’s lots of parking, and the rooms are small but good, with great, comfortable beds. Breakfast was okay. A lovely little hotel.
