Everything was just right!

The farm shop has excellent quality. I’ve been there several times, and the owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions in person or over email. My dog absolutely loves the treats, too. I haven’t come across this kind of quality and variety anywhere else in the region. Using every part of an animal is a fantastic idea.

Markus, the owner, greets everyone, and his excitement about the excellent products from the forest and fields is infectious, whether you’ve cooked before or not. There’s plenty to taste and enjoy, and you also get to cook yourself. It’s a first-rate wild game cooking course, and I’d gladly do it again. Anyone curious about the subject should give it a try. Markus knows enough to fill several courses! 🤣 A REALLY SPECIAL FUTURE FOR WILD GAMES LOVERS.

The evening ended with a five-course dinner, and getting to enjoy what we’d made during the day was a real treat. We were at the venue in Walporzheim, which was cozy and stylish and suited the occasion beautifully. This game menu class was a wedding gift from friends, and it turned out to be a proper learning experience as well as a fun culinary day. The chef team guided everything with real expertise. We took part from the first step through to the last plate, learning about butchering game, trimming it, making an aromatic stock, and choosing the right methods for different kinds of game. The team demonstrated each step, explained it clearly, and let us practice with lots of patience. We chopped and fried together, and the practical guidance made it easy to follow. There was a varied group, and working together in such an open atmosphere made it easy to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from each other. Thanks to the whole team for the warm welcome, careful attention, and professional organization. If you want to understand game cooking and enjoy learning it, this is a great place to do it.
