I can't recommend this holiday village. The houses look beautiful from outside, but I felt differently once we were in. There were cobwebs in the bedroom and especially above the terraces, and the rooms were cold. The living room carpet was dirty and needs replacing, and the pillows should be replaced too. On the positive side, the bathroom was spacious and had a shower cabin. There's no laundry room for guests. You have to ask to use the machine behind reception, and access is limited to certain hours. Regen itself didn't have much to offer, though bus and train service there was good. There's no connection from Regen to the village, so you'll need a car or have to walk. A taxi from the centre cost 12€. To rent a bike, you have to go to Bodenmais.

A lovely spot in the woods near Regen, with several self-catering holiday homes. Regen has supermarkets and other shops, about 5 km away.

Haus Susanne is top-notch. The house, furnishings, and service were all great. The lady was really nice, everything was handled professionally, and nothing was a problem.

We had a really good stay with the Gebendorfer family. They were friendly and made the rental process easy, and everything was clean and well cared for. Waldferiendorf is peaceful, good for dogs and kids, and fairly affordable. Regen, Bodenmais, and Zwiesel are all close by car. The Arberland is beautiful for walks, with Lake Arbersee and Großer Arber among the highlights. We keep coming back to Waldferiendorf in Regen to unwind.

We were five adults with two dogs. The house was clean and well equipped, with three bedrooms, one of them with bunk beds, plus a gallery with a double bed. It even had two toilets. The large veranda was nice, though a door leading straight into the garden would have helped. We managed by folding down a table and could leave the dogs there for a while. The surroundings are beautiful, with great views, and the houses are quiet and well maintained. We'd happily return.
