The Monday setup is a little strange: after breakfast and room cleaning, there's no staff or other service, and the rest of the hotel stays locked. You get a key so you can come and go to your room. Still, it's a lovely little hotel just outside the old city. The rooms are nice and very clean, breakfast is very good, and the restaurant and beer garden are great places to unwind, with tasty food at fair prices. It's right beside a brewery, but all you notice is the good beer. No industrial noise or anything like that.

The beer garden is lovely on a sunny day, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They even made turkey schnitzel for me although it isn't usually on the menu, which I appreciated. It looked delicious, but once I started eating, there was a strange taste I couldn't identify, and it didn't taste like turkey. I couldn't enjoy the meal. I don't know what was wrong; maybe the meat had been reheated, was lower quality, or wasn't turkey breast. Something seemed off and spoiled the experience. The staff asked how things were, but I held back my disappointment because I didn't want to disturb the pleasant mood. I wasn't sure how they'd take the feedback, and I wanted to keep things positive.

We came across this lovely restaurant by chance. The interior was really nice, and both the asparagus and Sonnen schnitzel were excellent, with huge portions. We really enjoyed dinner here.

The atmosphere was cosy and traditional, the staff were super friendly, and they had an English menu. The food was delightful.
