The food was really nice, and staying there with snow all around felt dreamy. The decor is a bit all over the place, though, and some details need attention. Our rug was very dirty, with a strange chloride stain, and there was a hole in the wall. I also found some of the artwork a little scary. The rooms have potential, and with a thoughtful restyle this could be a real hidden gem.

The breakfast was much better than I expected from the photos other reviewers had posted. There was so much variety that I wish I’d taken pictures myself. We also found the castle hotel beautifully renovated, with spacious, clean rooms, affordable prices, and staff who were fine. It’s in a picturesque spot by a lake, and sauna and fitness facilities were available, though we didn’t use them. I can hardly think of any negatives. A fridge in every room would be useful, especially for families with children, and a kettle would be a convenient addition for them too. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay at Romantik Hotel Schloss Reichenow.

The deluxe room was huge, clean, and really stylish, with a bath and a beautiful lake view. We loved the artwork too. Breakfast was amazing, and we were glad we managed to get out of that giant bed for it. The staff were great, and everything felt so calm. Mostly, we came away with a lovely sense of peace and quiet.

The castle is tucked into beautiful countryside, and we had the best time there for a full weekend wedding. The rooms were perfectly decorated and had everything we needed. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious. There wasn’t a single thing we could criticize. We’re very grateful to the whole staff for such an amazing time. 🙏

Our room beneath the roof was enormous, though it felt less like a castle than the rooms on the first floor. The location is lovely, right in the middle of beautiful countryside. Service was friendly, if occasionally a little clumsy, perhaps because some of the young staff were still under training. All in all, we had a very good experience.
