Gästehaus Willfert

We loved having two balconies, one for morning sun and the other for evening sun. The rooms were clean and very well equipped, though there was no oven. Our two-room apartment suited us really well. There’s storage for bikes in summer and skis and other gear in winter, plus a boot dryer in the basement. Lydia and Walter are lovely, friendly, helpful hosts. The house sits unobstructed at the edge of town, with a direct view of the Kaiser Mountains. Great cycling and hiking routes start right there, and there are plenty of maps and information. The small basement relaxation room has an infrared sauna and comfortable armchairs, with bathrobes and towels provided. There’s coffee, fruit, drinks, beer, and wine on hand too, if you’d rather not walk the 100 meters to the nearest supermarket.
