We stayed nine nights at the Klara Guesthouse, and it was one of the best summer holidays I've had. The apartment was small but lovely, quiet, and had everything we needed. We ate breakfast on the balcony and ended our evenings with a stunning view. Hiking starts right behind the house, and you can get around on foot. Reit im Winkl is a charming town, and the wider region is fantastic for walking, from easy outings to challenging routes, as well as cycling. The Obermeier family deserve a special thank you. They're super friendly, typically Bavarian, caring, quick to help, and seem to have a heart for everything. The house is kept beautifully and run with love, and I felt in very good hands. I explored the whole Chiemgau region and Austria from here, and found it wonderfully relaxing. Highly recommended. I'll be back with my family. Many thanks from South Hesse!

I loved my week here. My room had a kitchenette, seating area, and a wonderfully charming balcony, and there was nothing I lacked. Everything was cared for and thoughtfully put together, with a modern feel and a rustic touch. Reit im Winkl is fantastic, idyllic, lively, and still peaceful. The host couple were so kind and always had a friendly word for me. The outdoor pool is a lovely free extra, and very family-friendly. Winklmoos Alm, Steinplatte, Lake Chiemsee, and Ruhpolding are all easy to reach, about 10 to 45 minutes by car. The town also has a good range of restaurants, bakeries, ice cream parlors, and cafés. A really successful stay. I'd come back anytime. A heartfelt thank you to the Obermeier family for their hospitality. ☺️

The owners live in the same building, and the apartment is on the first floor of a very quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of Reit im Winkl. They welcomed us warmly and gave us all the information we needed right away. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped, with a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, dining table, and more. There's a small modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living room has a sofa, armchair, and TV, plus access to a large balcony. A frosted glass door leads to a dressing room with a big wardrobe and mirror. The bedroom has a large bed, armchair, chest of drawers, and small TV, and also opens onto the balcony. The extra large toilet was especially useful and could easily serve as a second bathroom. The apartment is very comfortable. Fresh rolls were delivered daily when we asked, and we could keep our bikes securely in the basement. There's a parking space, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and our guest card let us park for free in town and use various swimming pools at no charge.

We spent 14 days at Gästehaus Klara and found both the apartment and the house well maintained, with a cozy feel. The hosts were very friendly. It's a handy base for hiking, and you can also walk to everything in the village. We're already looking forward to coming back.

Apartment 1 was cozy, spotlessly clean, and nicely arranged, with a magnificent mountain view. The hosts were friendly, easygoing, and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this apartment.
