I’d recommend this apartment. It was very clean, and the bedroom was excellent, with a wardrobe, storage, bedside tables, and very comfortable beds. The bedroom window could be shaded, and the other windows had external blinds. The bathroom was spacious, with a large skylight and a rain showerhead. A broken seal at the bottom of the shower door did let water spread across the tiles during our stay. The second-floor holiday apartment is beautifully furnished and has a roof terrace. The kitchen is well equipped, with spices in a drawer, dishwasher tabs for the holiday period, a small washing machine and freezer, plus a vacuum cleaner and mop. There were capsules for the Tchibo Cafissimo machine as well as a regular coffee machine. I missed an egg scoop and maybe a third and fourth egg cup. The kitchen seating area overlooking the terrace was adequate, though I found the chairs awkward to get used to and later sat on the bench. The living area’s two sofas were adequate, but the upholstery could be firmer, so we preferred long evenings at the kitchen table. There was a Samsung flatscreen TV without apps like Netflix or Prime, and SmartView wasn’t available. Wi-Fi at 1.8 Mbps was fine for social media, but streaming Netflix on a phone was a struggle. The roof terrace has plenty of room for sunbathing when it’s dry, with a large table, four chairs, cushions, two footstools, and a large parasol. We had 10 days of rain, so unfortunately hardly got to use it. We couldn’t see the Rhine from there, but could see the Eifel mountains. There’s parking in front of the house, and we stored our bikes in the backyard carport. The chickens and rooster in the yard were a special highlight.
