The room was perfect, the service was great, and breakfast was lovely.

The staff seemed rather uninterested in guests. The small room and bathroom had too much room perfume sprayed in them. Parking just outside was fine, and the restaurant and breakfast were fine too. It was fun watching traffic on the river, and the pre-season price was good.

The room was large and the food was good. We struggled to ask about the heating because of the language barrier, though, and ended up wearing wet gear the next day.

We had a fantastic dinner, and breakfast was a 10/10. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the Rhine view was lovely. There’s a scenic path just across the road that felt safe and pleasant for a run. I’d definitely recommend the place and plan to book again.

After a week of struggling to communicate while traveling through Germany, it was such a lovely surprise to meet a waiter who spoke four languages. I’d had no one to gossip with all week, so you can imagine how good that felt. If you like schnitzel, I recommend this place ;-)
