Hotel Haffidyll

I was nine months pregnant, and this whole situation caused me a lot of stress. I felt scammed, and they didn't seem to care or offer any solution. I've traveled a lot and visited 50 countries, but I've never had worse service. They just stopped communicating, and I couldn't reach them by phone. I was left waiting for an email that never came. I bought a Groupon voucher in August for Hotel Haffidyll, covering two nights in a double room for two people, with breakfast and a lunchpaket. I paid 109 Euro for a deal Groupon said was worth 176 Euro. I wanted to celebrate my birthday on 19 March 2023 with my husband and newborn baby. The voucher gave no information about bringing a baby, so I tried to contact the hotel. The phone numbers on its website didn't work: I called more than 10 times between August and October 2022, but only got the answering machine. I also emailed and made a reservation through the website, with no reply. I asked Linde Deals, the voucher provider, about the baby. They said we could bring the baby and would only have to pay city tax, so I bought the voucher feeling confident. When I tried to book for 17-19 March 2023, Linde Deals finally gave me a different Haffydil Hotel email address. The hotel then said I couldn't bring a baby into the double room and would have to pay 288 Euro for an apartment. They valued my voucher at just 99 euro, even though it covered two nights in a double room. I checked the hotel's website: that room for 17-19 March cost 166,00 euro with breakfast alone, so I expected the value with Lunchpaket to be higher. I complained that the hotel hadn't answered my calls or emails before I bought the voucher, and that Linde Deals had told me I could use it. After that, the hotel stopped replying to my emails too. The way they handled my complaint was a nightmare.
