I wouldn’t recommend it. We left 2.5 hours late, and they kept our €150 deposit without telling us beforehand. The apartment itself was dated, with furniture that looked randomly put together from several household clearances.

We’ve now stayed here three times, each in a different apartment, and have been pleased every time. The walk to the Salzhaff lagoon takes just two minutes, and the Baltic Sea is about 15 minutes away on foot. Rerik has a dog beach too, which suits us well when traveling with our dog. We’d gladly return for a fourth and fifth stay.

The apartment wasn’t clean: there was hair from previous guests on the carpet, the bathroom was heavily scaled, and having to make our own beds meant seeing the mattresses, which wasn’t pleasant. The whole building and green area also needed better cleaning. The parking was a mess, with very narrow spaces and the chance that someone else would take the space meant for you. There were beds for six, but not enough dishes or cutlery for six people. The sofa bed was old and rickety, the dishwasher leaked, and the windows and curtains were dirty. The bedrooms felt cramped and looked toward a mother and child spa playground, where children played until 10 p.m. We don’t have high standards, but the setup didn’t match the price. We also had to pay for a travel cot for our baby for 14 days, even though it was in the storage room along with the high chair. We could have taken it out ourselves. It felt like a rip-off. We were very disappointed and would advise against this apartment or complex. For that money, we’d have preferred somewhere else. Never again.
