Hirschen Apartments

The owner apologized and sent a bottle of wine to make up for things, which I appreciated. That's not something you can take for granted these days. I was welcomed in a friendly way, but I can't quite agree with the five-star reviews of the apartment. There were lots of dead flies on the floor and in the bathroom, and one even crawled toward me. If I were expecting guests that day, I'd make sure the room was ready for them. The refrigerator was off, and there was a dead beetle in the freezer door. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day.

There was no breakfast, but a very inexpensive bakery right next door. We were really happy with the lovely rooms, romantic feel, and cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Coffee and tea were available free of charge at any time, and the value for money was excellent. We'd be glad to come back!

The apartment was spacious and we had a pleasant stay, though the furnishings could do with some maintenance. For us, it's a good stopover, especially with a great restaurant offering a large menu, excellent food, and friendly, efficient service. If you're willing to overlook the upkeep, you'll have a good time too.

The location was quiet, the apartment clean, and the price absolutely unbeatable. Staff were helpful and easy to deal with. The beds and bathroom were modern and new, and the furnishings were functional.
