The service was great.

The owners were friendly, and breakfast was decent, though served in a fairly small room. The building felt a bit unwelcoming, like it might also house apartments or something. Our room was clean, but it wasn't very roomy for a longer stay.

We booked this hotel for two extra nights by the Rhine at the end of our holiday, and were glad we did. Check-in was easy, the bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was very good. The building's exterior can be misleading: the rooms are upstairs on the first floor, above a large office, and there's no elevator.

The breakfast was my one small disappointment. There were fresh rolls, but no plain yogurt or quark, which I really need, and no fresh fruit for a fruit salad. Everything else went smoothly, even with our late arrival. The owner was very friendly and gave us directions by phone. Our room was clean, and its little decorative details added some flair. It even had a balcony. We were very satisfied with the accommodation.

The owners were welcoming and happy to help, and we were pleased with both the room and breakfast. It made a good, dependable stopover for us. There's a fridge in the hallway where you can buy drinks at fair prices.
