Hotel Pension Jasmin

The Wi-Fi worked well, and breakfast was very good. This is a lovely little guesthouse and great value for the money. I’d happily recommend it.

It was peaceful at night since the hotel is a little away from the main route. There’s a restaurant and small pizzeria nearby, too. Service was really friendly, my room was clean and perfectly fine, and breakfast had a good, sufficient selection.

For the same price, you could get a wonderful room at Hotel Bellevue. We were there in January and our room stayed cold, with no way to adjust the temperature. Apparently the underfloor heating is switched off overnight, so if you need the toilet at night, take a blanket. The shower water was warm but had hardly any pressure. The young man, whether owner, caretaker or something else, seemed overwhelmed. He didn’t say hello or goodbye and kept asking about money, including knocking at 10 pm to ask when we’d pay. The price and what we got were completely out of balance. Don’t go there, it’s not worth it.

I’d stay here again. The room was spotless, the area quiet, and the staff friendly and helpful. My flight was delayed, so I reached Rheinfelden well after 10 pm, but I could still get into my room. Rooms with balconies have ashtrays, which is handy for smokers. Perfect!
