Zechliner Hof

We rented a motorboat while we were here, an easy process that gave us a lot of fun on the nearby lakes. It's a nice guesthouse, with friendly staff and a very good breakfast.

The place is very quiet, almost sleepy in autumn, but incredibly beautiful, and the value for money is unbeatable. We stayed for a long weekend and were the only guests. The staff member was incredibly friendly and served us a lavish breakfast, and we had some very warm, friendly conversations too. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, with absolutely nothing to complain about. We'd definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The courtyard is inviting even when the weather is bad, and it's a great place to chat with other guests and unwind. There's also a large common room with an integrated kitchen. We read the reviews before setting off and were a little apprehensive, but we just got back from our holiday yesterday and are still thrilled. The reviews, especially those from more than two years ago, can be ignored. It seems there has been a change of ownership, and many things have changed since then. It's now a paradise for holidaymakers. The rooms are clean and practical, and the breakfast buffet is delicious, plentiful, and carefully prepared. The manager is almost always on-site, ready to listen to guests and offer tips for leisure activities. After 10 days, leaving was very difficult because the wonderful manager and staff made everything feel so welcoming and friendly. We had a holiday we'll remember for a long time. Many thanks to everyone on site ♥️. In my opinion, there is no reason to go back to a holiday home or bungalow. One thing to improve: the website doesn't clearly say that a kitchen with a refrigerator is available, which could lead some people to book a holiday apartment instead. I think that should be made clearer.

Breakfast is plentiful, with something for everyone. There's plenty to do nearby, whether you're after cultural activities or a dip in the cool, clear waters of the clean lakes.
