The pool area has a view of Schloss Neuschwanstein, which is amazing. Dinner was delicious and such good value. I’d say try the 3-Gänge Menü: both the Hauptgang and Nachspeise were impressively tasty. I had Hirschbraten, with sweet, perfectly cooked carrot and broccoli, plus really tasty pear and jam. I was already full after the Hauptgang, but the dessert was too good to turn down.

The staff made us feel so welcome, and the food was delicious. We liked our stay enough to extend it. We were visiting from Australia in February and chose this place for a trip to Neuschwanstein Castle. It was ideally located nearby and very easy to reach by car. We’d absolutely stay here again if we return to Germany.

I booked through booking.com, but an emergency meant my mom and I couldn't make it to Fussen. We had to change our plans and return to our country early, so I asked to cancel with only a 20% refund. I was fine with that amount, since this wasn't a cancellation I wanted, but the hotel refused to give us even that. I'm utterly disappointed. What a stingy, inconsiderate hotel!

The staff and service were wonderful, and the spa was good and clean. The location is really convenient, with amazing views of the lake and mountains.

The views were perfect, and the check-in instructions were really good. It was too cold for us to use the balcony, but the view would be a 5/5. Reception was super friendly, and the spas looked really pretty. Restaurant service was 3/5. We were a bit ignored when it got busy, and we were rushing to order because it closes quite early. The food was also 3/5: the “salad” wasn’t really a salad, just sliced ham, cheese, olives, and tomatoes, with way too much dressing. The mixed sausages were mediocre, and I should’ve picked something else. An okay experience overall.
