Ferienwohnung Achhammer

The host family was really nice, and we had a lovely five-day stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Laundry was 6€ per load, which was fine since the lady washed everything quickly and really well. The internet connection wasn’t great, and there’s no smart TV for watching movies. But when the weather is nice, you don’t need one ☺️

We were two couples staying for two weeks by car, and the comfortable beds helped make it a really relaxing stay. The apartment is very spacious, and we especially appreciated the extra refrigerator on the large covered balcony in the hot weather. The garden and its seating area are lovely. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, and greeted us with homemade cake and jam, chilled beer, water, and more. We didn’t manage to see everything, so we’re already planning another holiday in the Altmühl Valley at the Achhammer family's beautiful apartment. 🤗😎

The garden is lovely, full of bright colors, and there’s a barbecue available outside. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished, and the owners are very friendly. There’s plenty to do nearby, especially if you like caves, crystals, German cultural monuments and buildings, or simply enjoying the scenery.

We’ve now stayed three times and are still completely happy with the apartment. This year we were even invited to the birthday celebration, which we’re grateful for. We’ll definitely be back. On our first visit, everything we could need was already there. The welcome cake was especially lovely since I was celebrating my birthday, and the beer, sparkling wine, and homemade jelly were much appreciated too. My e-bike fit perfectly in the lockable shed. The Achhammer family are so friendly, and we felt at home from day one.
