We chose this guesthouse after reading the glowing reviews, but unfortunately can't recommend it. The rooms and furnishings feel very dated, with a distinctly 1970s look. Breakfast was hardly a buffet. There was nothing at all for vegetarians or vegans, not even tomatoes, peppers, or cucumbers. We can't agree with the overwhelmingly positive feedback.

The staff were so welcoming, and the view was great. Breakfast was okay, though I'd rather see yogurt served in bowls with something like fresh fruit than in plastic pots. The room was bright and clean, with a small but pleasant balcony, but the bathroom was cramped and there was no wardrobe. More outlets would help, too. It was peaceful, but the walls were thin enough that I could hear another guest's phone call. The internet kept cutting out, which made streaming Netflix difficult.

I've been back several times and they always make me feel welcome, dog included. The rooms are on the small side but quite sufficient, and the price seems fair. Breakfast is excellent every time. I'd recommend staying here.

It's a lovely quiet spot for a good night's sleep. The rooms are small, though fine for a short stay, and everything is clean and well looked after. Breakfast from the buffet was very good. Highly recommended.
