Holiday Inn Express Ringsheim by IHG

We had a good stay and I'd happily come back. The modern room was clean, with a comfortable bed, good shower and air conditioning, and breakfast had a decent range including options for dietary needs. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Europa Park and Rulantica are under 10 minutes away by car. There's also a cheap, convenient local bus just outside, though it only takes cash. Buses run regularly, are generally on time, and continue fairly late, with the last one back from Rust at 10pm. Restaurants are an easy walk away, there's a supermarket around the corner, and the railway station is 10-15 minutes on foot. The large hotel car park costs €8 a night, which felt expensive given the quiet area and the free parking nearby.

We found the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout. Our room at Holiday Inn Express in Ringsheim was modern, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and offered a good variety. It's a short drive to Europa-Park, and we felt it was good value for the money. A wonderful stay, and I'd recommend it to families visiting the area.

Parking cost extra, which caught me out. On first glance at booking.com, it looked like it was free, but it wasn't included, so that was a hidden cost for me. Apart from that, it's a very nice hotel and I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms were quiet, comfortable and well kept, so they were a good place to unwind after sightseeing. The hotel is spotless and welcomes pets, and its location makes trips to Europa-Park, Rulantica and even Switzerland easy. I was especially impressed by the friendly, helpful staff. Families will appreciate the small kids' play area, and breakfast was enjoyable, though I did miss orange juice. As an IHG member, I expected a welcome item such as a bottle of water in the room, but there wasn't one. There was no small freezer either, which might be useful for future guests. I'd happily return, and recommend it to families and other travelers.
