Hotel Zur Krone

A classic German hotel and restaurant, with traditional German food.

The meal was a real highlight, with fresh, well-seasoned dishes that looked carefully put together. The staff were attentive and friendly without hovering, and made me feel welcome right away. I really enjoyed the visit and would gladly come back. I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant.

Dinner was a standout, and breakfast had plenty of fresh options. We also got to enjoy wheat beer in the sunshine, which added to the relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the service impressed us throughout our business trip. Reception welcomed us warmly and we felt at home straight away. Some rooms are a little dated, but they're well kept and perfectly adequate. Renovations seem to be happening bit by bit, and our bathroom had already been updated with a bright, attractive design. We'd book here again whenever we're in the area.

The Hotel Restaurant was excellent, especially the restaurant's Hessian à la carte specialties. Breakfast included lots of homemade treats, from plum jam and applesauce to sausage and pastries, and we were warmly welcomed. We felt completely at ease, and our dog was welcome too. We had a wonderful week at Hotel Restaurant Krone in Ronneburg and would love to come back in the autumn. We highly recommend the hotel and restaurant.
