Getting into town could be a hassle without your own car, since finding a ride isn’t easy. The location is fine if you do have a vehicle. The rooms are decent, though I’d expect at least a mini fridge. Service was okay, nothing more.

The outdoor seating area was cozy, and breakfast was good. Everything worked as promised, just without anything that felt especially impressive.

The room included breakfast, but I never got to eat it. My dogs were with me, and after the bedroom door code stopped working in the morning, staff couldn’t give me a replacement. I packed my things and loaded them into the car, which took until midday. Then I rushed to grab some food and found I had to pay at the cashier, where the woman who’d come about the door was. It was five past 12, the cutoff, even though the delay came from their system failing. I was disappointed with the staff.

I arrived in the middle of the night and checked in at the gas station. The attendant was really friendly and showed me how to drive to the included parking garage, then explained how to reach my room from there. It was quick and easy.

We visited on 6 and 21 July 2012, two adults and one child. The rooms were basic but spacious and clean, and the motel was very good. Service and value for the price were good too. My daughter left her teddy bear behind, and they sent it to our home address.
