A good value choice for a short stay, especially if you need to be in the area. It’s easy to get to and from the highway, with good parking. The rooms are very clean and have some charm, though they’re a bit outdated. I particularly liked the big, soft pillows.

The rooms were clean and great, and the service was very good. The staff were helpful and got us what we needed when we asked. There were a couple of odd toilet setups: in room 21, the toilet window meant someone outside could look in, while room 20 had no toilet lock. It was manageable.

We’ve used this hotel a couple of times on road trips between the UK and Norway, and it’s a great stop for an overnight stay. The staff are very friendly, it’s right by the A7, and the value is good. Guests can opt for a typically German continental breakfast, and there’s evening dinner service with good-quality pizzas at good prices. The rooms are fairly up to date, though the bathrooms are a little dated. That doesn’t bother me at all.

I don’t know why this place has “only” a 3.9 rating. Even without considering the price, it’s fantastic. It’s calm, has a great vibe, and the rooms are decent, especially the ones with balconies. The restaurant and bar stay open late on weekends, and pets are welcome. Seriously underrated.

Such a cozy hotel in a beautiful area. The staff were really friendly, and the pizza is one of the best I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend.
