It was okay.

You can bring a dog, and the rooms feel cozy and are clean. It’s reasonably priced, although breakfast costs extra. The hotel is close to the highway.

The beds were so worn and old that it felt like sleeping on the floor. The walls were very thin, too. Each time someone opened the front door, the noise jolted us awake. The place itself was quiet and surrounded by fields, out in the middle of nowhere, so you wouldn’t expect to find a guesthouse there. We booked it more or less because we had to. It wasn’t worth the money at all. The owner said we should book a 5-star hotel next time. We’ll never set foot there again.

The owner is nice, but puts far too little into making a stay pleasant. We spent over €300 for two nights, what a waste. The three of us also paid over €70 for breakfast at €11.90 per person, and it was disgusting. The jam was moldy, the coffee seemed stale, the honey was old and inedible, and the Nutella had dried onto the knife. I knew the hotel from before, but after it was bought three years ago, none of what I remembered seems to be left. There’s a terrible smell all through the place. The mattresses are very soft, cheap foam, and one had split open. I found cobwebs and spiders under the mattress protector, and there were cobwebs in the bathroom as well. The cleaning was superficial. The room didn’t feel cozy, and a small black-and-white picture didn’t help. Never again, it’s really disappointing.
