Ostseehotel Warnemünde

The beach promenade is right in front of the hotel and lovely for a stroll. Alter Strom, with all its restaurants and pubs, and the historic lighthouse are only a few minutes away on foot. We had a wonderful, extensive breakfast in the morning, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. I booked the Baltic Sea Hotel for one night. It's in a fantastic spot beside Hotel Neptun and opposite the spa, with the entrance to the underground parking garage across the street, so arriving and leaving was easy. The room was modern and comfortable, and the bathroom had a great big rain shower. Highly recommended! One thing to know: the hotel still advertises its own restaurant everywhere, but it no longer exists.

The breakfast was delicious, and the hard-working buffet staff kept everything fresh and well stocked. The manager even came around to chat with guests. That big bottle of champagne was a nice try, though the attempted bribery wasn't necessary at all ;-) At reception we got a warm welcome from a very friendly lady with a good sense of humor, which feels rare these days. We also managed to sort out the printer problem we know from home without any trouble. Our three rooms were clean and tidy, and absolutely fine, though I did miss having a coffee machine in the morning. Some respect is due to anyone who wakes up without caffeine. Getting there was a breeze: the Kurhaus parking garage is right across the street, and the hotel ticket got us a discount, which made the Swabian in us happy ;-) Great value for money, a pleasant atmosphere, and a good sense of humor. We'll be back, even without the fizzy water!

The staff were the real highlight. Reception was fantastic, the breakfast room staff were just as friendly, and the cleaners were cheerful, hardworking, and kind. Breakfast was very good too; we didn't lack a thing. We spent two nights here and found the hotel stylish, small, and comfortable. There were just a few minor issues, like the missing seal on the shower in room 2, but it barely affected our otherwise very positive impression. A thoroughly enjoyable stay, and we'd happily recommend it. ⚓️

We were really impressed by the wonderful breakfast buffet, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Arriving was easy too, with the parking garage just opposite the hotel and a discount available with the hotel's parking card. Highly recommended.
