We arrived around 2:00 AM after driving all day, exhausted and just needing somewhere to sleep. The receptionist was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional from the outset. We don't speak German, so we asked him to speak English, but it was still hard to communicate. When I was ready to book and pay, he said we weren't welcome and wouldn't give us a room. I immediately booked through Booking.com, but he cancelled that reservation and said they wouldn't host us under any circumstances. When I told him how tired we were and that we desperately needed sleep, he threatened to call the police. I've never been treated so disrespectfully by hotel staff. I can't recommend this hotel.

The manager/receptionist's behavior left us with a terrible impression of both the hotel and the city, even if the hotel itself might be fine. He was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful the whole time, repeatedly calling it “his hotel” and acting like he could treat guests any way he liked. He was hostile and condescending instead of welcoming or professional. I've never had such poor customer service in a hotel. No guest should be treated that way, and sadly, I can't recommend this place.

The staff were attentive and very friendly, and breakfast had absolutely everything you could want. The atmosphere was lovely, too. This is a very clean, modern hotel with rooms that are just as clean and modern. It's newly built, with straightforward design and attention to detail. I highly recommend it and wish them many more happy guests.

We really liked the restaurants in the hotel and will definitely return. It also has underground parking, including bicycle storage and a charging station. The hotel itself is superb, with very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired.
