Posthotel Rotenburg

The breakfast buffet had loads of choices, and the coffee was strong and great. Parking down the hill made things easy for guests. I stayed at the Posthotel Rotenburg for our 40 Year High School Anniversary last year, and the whole stay was excellent. Check-in was easy, and my spacious room was clean and comfortable, with a very nice bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable too, and I enjoyed having a little terrace. I highly recommend Posthotel Rotenburg. A very strong 5.0.

The service was good enough to bring this close to a 4 for me, and breakfast was good too. It's a nice hotel, though a bit old fashioned. My room's bed was softer than I like, and the room was very close to the railway. I'd still call it a good hotel, so I gave it a 3.

The reception staff were lovely, always smiling and pleasant, and the cleaners were really nice too. The rest of the stay was disappointing. The room I booked wasn't the one I got, they gave me a smaller one, and I barely slept. A building site across the road was noisy from about 7, and the curtains let in light. The trains passed too, though that's not the hotel's fault. On Monday morning, I could hear some kind of trolley vibrating through the hotel around 5:30 or 6:30. I never tried breakfast. I ordered a dinner to the room, but it was inedible because of all the salt, especially the chips. I wanted to use the spa area, but the steam room didn't work. It's definitely nowhere near a 4-star hotel. How would I describe it? I'm really sorry, but none of the options you gave fit.

The rooms are very nice and spacious, and breakfast is generous. There is a fish restaurant whose smell reaches across the whole ground floor, and the railway runs right beside the hotel quite often. :-(
