I was glad they were open and had hot food. The menu had a few local Allgäu and Bavarian dishes, plus lots of Italian options, including plenty of pizza. The beer wasn't that good, at least the Weizen, which tasted too bitter to me.

The place felt warm, and the service was great. We came just for the restaurant, though the food was only okay. The regular Schnitzel was good, but the one with paprika sauce had too much sauce and a burned corner on the meat. The Spätzle was dry and not tasty.

The rooms were comfy and nice. Breakfast at the restaurant was a great German-style spread, and the German specialties at lunch and dinner were really tasty. And of course, great beer. Loved it!
