In more than 50 years of travel across 36 countries, I've never had hotel employees treat me as unfriendly, insensitive, or indifferent as they did here. We reported bugs in our bed and room, and were offered another room that had bugs too. The employee refused to come in and inspect our complaint. He spoke to my wife in a way that was completely disrespectful and harsh.

We stayed two nights in June in the family room, and it worked well for us and our two teenage kids. The hotel is very modern, with a great self-service setup. We didn't see much staff, but when we needed something, we found someone quickly and they sorted it out. There's no air conditioning, but the nights are cool, and opening the windows made for a great night's sleep. Parking is limited, and it's about a 20-minute walk from the train station. The hotel sits in the heart of what I think might be Germany's coolest medium-sized town, Rottweil. The people are splendid, the food options are amazing, and the old part of town feels like something from a novel. A splendid hotel for experiencing a splendid small town. Highly recommended! Oh, and the breakfast was amazing!

Compared with another local hotel at about the same price per night where I stayed the night before, this place was excellent value. The room was exceptionally cozy, clean, and well presented, with a lot of attention to detail in the work, as the attached pictures show. Check-in was easy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. '5-star' hotels in capital cities have a lot to learn from these guys. I'd definitely recommend the place. Keep up the good work!

The rooms were big, updated, and extremely clean, and the location was good. Breakfast was good too. Staff were very friendly, and most could speak English. They left little packets of sweets on our beds every morning, which was a lovely touch. I'd highly recommend it and hope to visit again one day.

The rooms were modern and stylish, but still really comfortable, and the staff did a lot to make everything go smoothly. They even put together a whole program for our group of 12, including a visit to the Thyssen Tower. We were there for one night for an international Top Management meeting in our organisation, and the communication beforehand was easy and clear.
