Panorama Allgäu Spa Resort

The spa was the best part for us. It's split between a nude area for adults only and a general area where everyone wears clothes. We took our baby girl to the infinity pool and indoor pool, where she had her first swim, then my husband and I took turns using the saunas and steam room. That downtime felt especially restorative as new parents. The facilities are modern, the views are lovely, and the guided sauna sessions with a sauna master were mesmerizing. The boutique-style gym was a nice extra for a quick daily workout. The food was a very pleasant surprise, delicious throughout our five-night all-inclusive stay. There was a large buffet at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus evening table service and the option to order ahead from a themed menu. “Around the World” was my favorite theme, with a varied choice of cuisines. I did find it odd to have sashimi and ramen without chopsticks. The restaurant has an open kitchen, and the staff were consistently attentive. We stayed in the Geißhorn Suite. It was spacious, which worked well with a baby, and had the basic essentials, but the bed wasn't very comfortable. The room felt a bit basic compared with the elevated experience elsewhere at the property. Our first family break with our nearly 3-month-old was just what we needed. After five nights, we felt relaxed and refreshed. I'd highly recommend the property for getting lost in its panoramic Alpine views.
