The staff spoke and understood English very well, and breakfast, which cost extra, was like a typical American continental spread: plenty of breads, meats, and cheeses, but no waffles. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the working elevator made it easy to get to every floor. I’d stay again when the weather is cooler. We knew the double and single rooms had no AC, and each had a floor fan. With moderate temperatures we thought that would be enough, but our double room was at the front corner, where traffic and frequent train noise made it hard to leave the window open. Though it was only in the mid 70s, the room felt warm and stuffy without fresh air. I’d try to avoid that room. The single room at the back had big windows and a great view, though its bathroom smelled odd, so we kept the door shut. A large dog on our floor barked now and then.

We stayed one night and could walk to everything we needed in Rudesheim. The rooms are affordable and comfortable, though a bit dated and in need of refreshing. They were clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a small parking lot across the street and another one a building over.

The staff were some of the nicest people I’ve dealt with on my travels, and it was a joy to interact with them. Breakfast was very good, and the small hotel had clean, pleasant rooms with a good shower. A superb place in the Rhine valley.

My father, Mr Tony Aubrey, and his travel companion Marcus said they had a lovely, friendly, comfortable stay. They enjoyed the breakfast, and he appreciated the owner going out of her way to help despite being busy. He asked me to add, “The Princess Royal, (Anne) was impressed with the information above” 👌
