Hotel Zwei Mohren

The waiters were friendly and helped me make sense of the menu even though I don’t speak German. I was visiting Assmannshausen and had dinner here. It was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. Thank you!

Our friends had made a reservation for us. We were on vacation with our 3 kids from NYC, but there was no English menu and the cell connection was very bad. We had o2 roaming from Verizon. The staff couldn’t explain the menu, which was mostly simple things like schnitzel and liver, so we had to leave and find somewhere else.

The food was good, and the people were kind. Our room was clean too, but I still felt uncomfortable with the decorations throughout the dining area. The decorations, along with the place’s name, made me feel it seemed to support racism. I’m disappointed there haven’t been more concerns about it, and I wouldn’t return unless they at least update the decorations. I’m not interested in supporting the browns or any racist behavior. We waited about an hour and a half for dinner one night. I hope they change the decorations soon. I also hope people avoid this location and support equality and inclusion.

I could hear the railway behind the hotel, but it didn’t bother me. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, and it was near the Rhine. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
