There's a beautiful old garden behind the castle, and the whole place has a charming, old country house feel. It's a real old castle. The owner was friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, and they even gave us cake for free in the afternoon.

I've stayed in some great hotels, but this is one of the coolest. Just keep in mind there's not much around to do, and it really is in the middle of nowhere.
