The room was nice, and breakfast starts at 6:30 or 7:00. There’s a large parking area near the hotel, and a convenient place to drop off guests. The road is easy to navigate in a large tour bus.

The only real plus for me was being able to check out late, at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The hotel is modern and reasonably priced, but we had a disappointing stay. Our room had a connecting door, and the people next door were extremely loud, even at 1 a.m. The room doors also slammed loudly and woke us several times during the night. There was a strong weed smell on the balcony, and the curtains let sunlight into the room in the morning.

There was a lot to like for the price: our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and we got complimentary mineral water at check-in. It felt like an old apartment turned into a hotel, with a cozy couch and small table where I could relax or work. The huge TV was the biggest we’ve seen in a hotel, with plenty of channels in different languages and a good signal. I counted more than ten wall outlets, so there was no need to fight over charging devices. Free parking was available on the public road across from the hotel, but spaces were limited and often full during our stay. Some details made the stay less comfortable. The advertised air conditioning didn’t seem to work. We tried the old analog thermostat on the lowest cool setting, but after several hours the vents only gave a faintly cool breeze. It reached 30°C while we were there, so the room got uncomfortable. The shower was poorly designed and sent water across the bathroom floor. With no proper drainage or extra gutter, we had to mop it up with extra towels. A simple shower curtain might have helped. There was no hair dryer or toilet paper holder, and one bedside light didn’t work. The hotel has a strict no-smoking policy, but the room still had a faint smoke smell from whoever stayed before, and the balcony had old cigarette butts scattered around. That made it feel less clean and left me wondering how well the rules are enforced. I also didn’t feel very private or secure with a locked connecting door to the next room, especially since the balconies made it easy to get between rooms. I stayed in July 2023. The place has potential, with its roomy layout and useful touches, but the design issues and lack of attention to detail got in the way. It’s decent for a short overnight stay at this price, as long as you don’t expect all the comforts of a typical hotel.

We’ve stayed here many times because the rooms are fairly new and clean. Still, I don’t understand why check-in always takes so long. Even as returning guests, we often end up waiting 20 minutes.
