Schifterhof Ruhpolding

We felt completely at home and met very lovely hosts. The house is charming, well kept, clean, and laid out ideally, with very nice bathrooms 🛁. It sits amid the beautiful surroundings of Ruhpolding, in the Wasen district. There’s lots to do nearby, and the town center is about a 10-15 minute walk or a five-minute drive away. The Unternberg cable car is close too. Five stars, of course. Off to Bavaria, off to Ruhpolding!

The village is around a 15-minute walk away, though the apartment is in a quiet spot with magnificent mountain views. It’s a charming, high-quality holiday apartment, and the hosts are very friendly. Fresh milk straight from the cow can be requested in the morning.

The location made it easy to take trips to Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden, or Salzburg, and there are also great places to visit nearby. We loved the daily delivery of fresh rolls, and want to mention the very kind host family as well. Our stay with Monika in Ruhpolding was simply wonderful. The apartment combines farmhouse character with modern living and has an impressive view of the mountains and cows. It was in top condition, with all the everyday items we needed. We’ll be back!!!

The children had a wonderful garden to run around in, with plenty of play equipment. We got a warm welcome from the lovely family, and the holiday apartment was beautifully furnished, mixing rustic and modern touches. Nothing was missing. Highly recommended!
