A very good apartment in a nice location.

We were six adults and a baby, staying for two nights, and wouldn't book this apartment again. The PIN in the booking confirmation was wrong when we arrived, so we had to call the landlord to get the correct one. Then we found the floor greasy throughout. Since our child crawls around, we mopped it straight away, and the towel we used came away black. Cleanliness fell short of our standards: the sofa was stained, the bedding had lots of holes, and there were clumps of other guests' hair on the floor. The wooden bench and chairs were in poor shape too. It's a shame, because the apartment is spacious and has potential, but it needs investment. I'd personally remove the living room carpets. The kitchen was also poorly equipped for cooking, with no large pots or pans, scissors, or vegetable peeler. If you're really staying here with 10 people and want to cook, it's simply not possible. On the plus side, there was soap in all the bathrooms and parking, and there is a dishwasher, though at one point water from it was standing in the sink.

We had to cancel at very short notice after two unexpected health emergencies in our group. We understood that the terms and conditions meant a cancellation fee, and weren't asking for a refund. We only asked whether they might consider moving our booking to a later period in January when we were all available. The reply was disappointing: no effort to find a solution, just a curt “not possible on such short notice,” with no understanding. We already had enough to worry about and would have appreciated even a small sign of empathy. For us, it wasn't about money but about how guests are treated during a genuine emergency. The way they communicated left us feeling there was no room for compassion or goodwill. It's a real shame, because moments like this reveal the hospitality of the accommodation provider and the people behind it.

Apartment No. 3 was awful. Everything was musty, damp, and there were dirty dishes and dirty duvets with holes, among other problems.
