Gästehaus Durst

Europa-Park is about a ten-minute walk away. We spent two nights here across three generations, in the family room and apartment number 4. Both apartments were lovely and very clean, with good mattresses and everything we needed. The landlady was friendly and easygoing, and breakfast had a great, wide selection.

We had a peaceful, pleasant stay in Apartment 1, and were delighted that it stayed cool inside even with bright afternoon sun. We were three adults and one child, age 9. There are two spacious bedrooms with wardrobes, a kitchenette, a living area with a TV, and a bathroom. The bed and mattress were good quality and wide enough, which we appreciated, haha. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, with a fridge, microwave, oven and baking paper, kettle, coffee maker, and more. They’d even provided cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, coffee, tea, salt, and spices. The bathroom was clean and excellent, with plenty of space for our things; towels were provided too. My only small gripe is that the fridge didn’t have a freezer compartment for ice packs. The owners were friendly, there’s parking right outside, and Europa Park is a ten-minute walk away. Breakfast can be booked, but we didn’t try it. We’d definitely keep Gästehaus Durst in mind for next time.

The owners were lovely and friendly, and breakfast was superb. The accommodation was fantastic and very, very clean.

For a short stay, this was perfect. The apartment slept six and was very clean, though there wasn’t a kitchen. Breakfast was excellent, the owner very friendly, and there’s a good restaurant nearby. A small coffee machine in the living room would have been nice.
