8/10
We had a roomy first-floor room with a little kitchen. The restaurant was better than average, and worth considering if you enjoy fine food. The hotel is a nice three-star place in the countryside, centrally located on Rügen, which worked well for visiting different parts of the island.

The food was good, though overpriced, and the other waiter was lovely. But the mature male waiter was the rudest, most aggressive one I’ve ever encountered. I nearly walked out before ordering. I’d tell people not to eat here, and I think he should be fired immediately.

We were here for two nights and felt really comfortable. The Thai dinner night was excellent, and that foam soup was amazing. Breakfast was very good too, especially the yoghurt.

They gave us a baby bed in the room when we asked, and the hotel is child-friendly. The rooms are lovely, the food is perfect, and the staff are friendly. Definitely recommend it!

A beautiful, peaceful place. The staff matter most, though: they’re helpful and always smiling.
