Breakfast was incredible, with lots of cheese, cold cuts, scrambled or jammy eggs, bacon, breads, flaky little croissants and other pastries. The staff were super friendly, and our room was a good size with basic bathroom amenities. It also had a kitchenette and appliances, including a coffee machine, though you need to bring your own cooking things and coffee or tea. The one disappointment was the advertised possibility of a water view. The website described it as canal-like, but we didn’t have one at all.

The room was comfortable, though there was a bit of a smell, which I think came from the bathroom. The place itself is nice, and both breakfast and the other meals were delicious. Dinner did take a while, though, about an hour of waiting.

We just stopped in for drinks at the harbour bar. It’s a small, pretty harbour with lovely scenery. Go at sunset for the stunning view across Lake Bodden.
