We had a great stay, with amazing food and perfect, friendly service. The thermen in kassel is well worth a visit. We’ll come back for more days and more food. kr Wilhelmus

This was one of my worst memories at a hotel. I was given a single room, which didn’t feel very welcoming, and when I asked the receptionist for a room with a balcony, it became a problem. Later they entered my room to leave a bill for four extra accommodation services, even though I’d put up a Do Not Disturb sign. They could have called or emailed me. I felt they showed no regard for my privacy or intimacy. They said there had been an emergency with the heating, but there was no boiler in my room. Overall, it was a horrible experience for me. If you don’t mind having no privacy and paying extra, go to this hotel. I hope I won’t need their services again.

We stayed here for stages 2 and 3 of the Habichtswald steig. The location was perfect, and the staff were really friendly. After two days of hiking, the sauna was lovely. The bar staff were especially helpful and patient with our large group.

The rooms were very good, and the service was good too. There are three saunas and a really nice place to relax. The dinner buffet was good.
