We stayed in one of the apartments (Ferienwohnung) booked through Air B&B. Since the hotel manages them, we could buy breakfast there, and it was great. It’s a quiet residential area even with commercial places all around, and it’s a handy place to stay for visiting Heidelberg. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Parking was tricky at first, though we were driving a large nine-passenger Mercedes rental van, so that may have been why.

Breakfast was awesome, the price was amazing, and there’s a food store nearby. I’d give the place five stars, but the shower curtain situation was horrible. I also couldn’t figure out the fridge’s 0-5 setting, and it never got properly cold, though the freezer worked great. The button was broken too. I wasn’t sure how to switch on the light over the burner. Help me sort those things out and this place deserves a perfect rating.

When we visit Heidelberg, we stay here because it costs much less and has parking. It’s only a few minutes’ drive into Heidelberg, and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast is lovely too. I can recommend it.
