We booked all three apartments together and would happily do it again. The kitchens were among the best equipped I’ve seen in holiday apartments. Everything else seemed brand new and top-notch, and the owner handled communication and special requests brilliantly. I’d book here again in a heartbeat.

The apartment feels sleek and modern, with a great atmosphere, everything you need, and excellent beds. Even with a road alongside, it was completely quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay. From the apartment you can see the activities on Matthias Smidt mountain in Sankt Andreasberg, including the cable car, toboggan run, and part of the mountain bike trail. Take binoculars, or walk over to soak up the atmosphere and join in. Keep practicing until you can manage the black course! There are several hiking trail starting points close by. Bring a map or GPS route planner, since the signs, as in many places in Germany, aren’t always clear. In the village there’s a handy little supermarket about five minutes away by car, plus a pizzeria, a nice bakery, and more. Bad Lauterberg is about 15 minutes by car, with Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, KiK for clothes, and the Rossman drugstore. There are some cozy terraces too. The circular walk near Oderteich is an easy one to find, about eight minutes away by car, but still a challenge. Go check it out. Highly recommended for sporty people who enjoy hiking and mountain biking.

We stayed for a long weekend with 13 people. The place was clean and tidy, the landlords were very friendly, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The vouchers for the summer toboggan run across the street were a great touch. Everything was perfect.

We had a great time and will definitely return. It’s a top stay in a super location, stylishly decorated and equipped with all the comforts.
