The smaller apartment was okay apart from a few things. Wi-Fi depended on Freifunk and didn't work reliably. The kids' beds had wooden doors for slatted bases, which seemed pretty questionable, and the cheap 1.40m double bed wasn't comfortable for two people to sleep in for long.

Restaurants are within walking distance, and there's a grocery store, a drinks shop and a bakery right across the road. Parking is available too. The place is practical and the kitchen is well equipped, though it gets a bit tight with seven people. The beds were good, I haven't slept that well in a long time. It is somewhat noisy, though, since traffic can be heard from the bedroom under the roof.

I think it's appalling that both apartments are being rented out, leaving the son and his wife without all the costs they're entitled to. What a disgustingly underhanded scheme.

It didn't look very promising. The apartment is in a converted shop, it was much too cold, and the double bed was too small.

Right in the city center, with parking, bakeries and restaurants nearby. It's got just what you need.
