Hotel Klosterhof

The food was very good, but the waiters made for an unpleasant experience. We were seated near an open door, and a cold wind kept blowing in. We politely asked several times for them to close it, but the same waiter kept opening it and leaving it open. When we finally shut it ourselves, the waiters laughed loudly and stared at us. Then the waiter opened the door again as he passed our table. They were very unfriendly and not customer friendly at all.

The staff were kind and the price seemed fair for what we ordered. We had schnitzel with Jäger Sauce and fries, plus deer goulash with Spätzle, and both were delicious. The creme brulee was tasty too. We had a great time, recommended! :)

The pizzas are good, but the knives could be sharper and more suitable for eating them. It's a great place to stay, with friendly staff, right in the city center near the Dom.

The view of the park is nice, and sometimes the Italian food is great, from soups and pizza to antipasti, risotto, and meat. Some of the staff speak Italian and several languages very well. The main guy working outside only speaks one language, though, and he's sad, unfriendly, impatient, and inconsiderate, sometimes outright arrogant. He must be looking for a new job. Occasionally you'll get reheated food and grocery-store breaded meat. There aren't many other options in town, of course.
