The decor is unusual, and the staff were friendly. We liked the food, though it arrived very late and was much too salty. Apart from that, things were fine.

We turned up without a plan as two couples and had a great time. The atmosphere was lovely, we were treated well, and the food was really tasty. Highly recommended. 21/12/2026

We ate here today and it was fantastic. The kids had flatbread pizza, while we went for schnitzel. The beer and wine were good too, and the staff were courteous and happy to accommodate us. The town is nice and quiet on 42, with good beer and food and a riverside walk.

The food was amazing, though there was far too much of it. You can take leftovers with you, but that's awkward when you're traveling for several days. The restaurant is near the Loreley cliff, with the Rhein just across the street. Service took so long that we spent 1.5 hours there but only 15 minutes eating, since we were rushing to get home on time. Nobody had warned us it would take that long.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly, quick, and efficient, and the portions were generous. We had a lovely lunch, and the food was delicious. The place looks a bit tacky and kitschy at first, but it's also cozy and pleasant. I'd strongly recommend eating here if you're in town.
