The station, supermarket, bus, ferry, and Rhine are all within walking distance, and the area around the building is lovely. For our needs, which were just a place to sleep and have breakfast, it worked out fine. The apartment itself has what you'd expect for a holiday stay, except there was no toaster. Up in the attic, the shower room is really just a windowless bathroom with a bathtub. The sloped ceiling makes it impossible to shower. The windows, doors, vents, and silicone sealant all need attention; maintenance seems to have been neglected. The main road is right out front and the railway is behind the building, so be aware that sleeping with an open window isn't an option.

We booked at the last minute, and the phone contact was very friendly. Everything went smoothly. The apartment looked just like the pictures, and was clean and modern. We'd be happy to come back.

The owner handled our questions quickly and competently, and the electronic key worked well once we got used to it. Parking in front of the building was easy, and the internet was usable around the building. Even with the trains and road traffic, we still slept without being disturbed during our three nights. The apartment was very clean and modern, with pleated blinds on every window for privacy and blackout. The kitchen was a bit bare: we couldn't make fried eggs because there was no pan. Streaming the radio didn't really work either. All in all, the stay was okay.

We stayed here as two families with children aged 4-6 and can highly recommend the accommodation. The apartment and the villages along the Rhine are in just the right spot in this beautiful region. If you're planning to visit the Lüneburg Heath, you definitely should.
