The phones in two rooms didn’t work, even though the information said to call reception at 510. We also weren’t told before check-in that there’d be no air conditioning, which was a problem with it 35 degrees outside. There was no fridge, and one of the beds in our booking was dirty. Never again.

I was able to skip renting a car because the hotel is so close to where I work, which was handy. Breakfast was fast and worth having. The buffet felt a bit small by German standards, though it was much bigger than any American one I’ve had.

The rooms are quiet and well kept, and I especially like the breakfast and the service here. I stay at this hotel whenever I visit SAP in Rot. Recommended.

Méléna made a tired traveler feel genuinely welcome, going out of her way and offering food and drink options I hadn’t expected. Her kindness and compassion stood out. The rooms are good, with really nice linens, and it’s a comfortable place to rest or hold a business meeting.

When we tried to sort out the wrong cost information we’d been given, it wasn’t corrected and there was no understanding from the owner. She only accused us of wasting her time. Really disappointing.
