We had to keep calling to get the lockbox code and an answer, so getting into the property to check in was really awkward. The room itself was very clean and basic, but the bed felt like a brick. Breakfast was a big letdown, just cereal or bread. We’d expected a full continental breakfast, so we ended up going to the bakery up the road.

Free parking right in front of the hotel and very reasonable prices were nice extras. The service was great and the staff really friendly. Our room and the facilities were clean, and the stay was very pleasant apart from the small bathroom and leaky shower.

I wouldn’t eat at the restaurant every day at these prices, but the homemade gnocchi was amazing. The place was nice and clean, and the staff very kind. One weekend drawback: breakfast doesn’t start until 8, and checkout isn’t possible before then either.
