I called to ask about a room and was told one was available, but that I should send a request through the hotel's website. I did so right away. The written offer only arrived the next morning, and I accepted within 40 minutes. Then, while we were already in the car on a very spontaneous trip, I got a short email saying the room was no longer available. On the phone, I was specifically told to book through the website rather than booking.com. I explained that the site only let me submit a request, not make a direct booking, and was assured that wouldn't be an issue. In the end, all that time and effort went nowhere. I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The hotel operator seems entirely incompetent at handling business.

We felt at ease the whole time, thanks to the friendly, attentive service. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was plentiful and very high quality. A very pleasant stay, highly recommended!

A great base for exploring the area, with brand-new rooms and fantastic air conditioning. The owners were warm, welcoming, and super friendly. And thanks for making the breakfast eggs just right! 🤗

It was quiet despite being right in the heart of a beautiful wine village, and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hiking trails begin right next door, and there's a bicycle parking area with charging facilities. Our room was very good, though a little dark since its only natural light came from the courtyard. Breakfast was perfect, with fresh produce and delicious homemade jams. The service was friendly, and they helped us plan tours. A lovely little hotel.
