The room was noisy at night and wasn't particularly clean. I had booked and paid through booking, but on arrival I waited half an hour for 'the boss'. When he finally showed up, he didn't know I was coming or that I'd made a booking. After talking it through, he eventually handed over the keys. Breakfast was included, and I was told it started at 6.30. I got there around 7.00, but the reception and the place were locked. When I called, they said breakfast was at 8.30, so I packed up and left. I'll try to avoid staying here next time.

Their description of the hotel doesn't line up with what you find in real life. The place is worn out and the rooms are shabby. What seems to have survived from its better days is the kitchen, which now operates as a takeaway.

I went with the cheapest option, so I knew what I might be getting, and the bathroom was hygienic. He hurried me to my place, then I lost sight of him at the first corner. We didn't say anything else because he'd already gone by the time I turned around. I shared a room with five or six Polish-speaking people who were having a great time until 2 or 3 a.m., yelling, laughing, and kicking the metal bin for some reason. They were nice, don't get me wrong, but none of them understood English. Hope this helps anyone who needs to sleep 🤗

For what it costs, I can understand the hotel being old and a bit run-down. Still, our room was dirty, one window had no curtain or blinds, and there was a hole in the wall stuffed with toilet paper.

It's a basic place and a little out of date, but the price is fair. The family running it were very friendly.
