The gardens and tables are lovely, with fantastic scenery all around. We stopped after seeing signs for coffee and Black Forest Gateaux. It took quite a bit of calling before someone came out. He hadn't known about the roadside signs but agreed to serve us. We got our coffees, but no cake, even though it was on the counter right beside us. We drank the coffee before it got cold, then went to pay, and that's when he realized he'd forgotten the cake. A pity, because it looked delicious.

We felt really welcome and had a fantastic stay. Our spotless room opened onto a shared balcony with awesome views. We had Wild Boar Goulash and Venison Goulash, both lovely, followed by a Black Forest ice cream take on a gateau, also lovely. We'd stay again!

The location was beautiful, and at first the room looked nice. We stayed some time ago, and unfortunately didn't inspect things properly before going out to dinner. When we came back to get ready for bed, we found hairs in the bed and felt uncomfortable. We just wanted clean sheets, but the reception was empty. We called the hotel number and reached the manager, as there were no staff in the building at night. He was extremely rude and dismissive when we complained, and refused to help with our simple request for clean sheets. The next day we spoke to him in person, got into an argument, and he even threatened to call the police if we didn't leave. We demanded a refund and eventually got it, but the whole experience was highly unprofessional.

The view and location were amazing, and all the staff, including the owner, were incredible and helped us have a good time. Our room was comfortable, with new furniture. Breakfast was very good, though basic. This hotel works well if you're arriving by car or by the bus that comes very near every 30 minutes.

The views were superb, and the location was fantastic. The staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly willing to lend a hand. There wasn't a huge choice of food, but what we had was tasty. Dogs are welcome too.
